Zutaten Teig:
4 Tassen Mehl
1 Tasse Milch
1,5 Esslöffel Salz
1,5 Esslöffel Zucker
1,5 Esslöffel Öl
Hefe
Füllung: Nach Wunsch. Man kann die Fatayer mit Muhammara (siehe unten), mit Käse & Petersilie oder Spinat füllen. Ich selbst mag sie am liebsten fast pur und fülle sie vor dem Backen mit Zatar, das ich zuvor mit Olivenöl vermengt habe.
Backen: Ähnliche Backzeit wie Pizza, bis der Teig goldgelb ist – etwa 10 Minuten.
Gewürze: Zatar, zum Bestreuen
Zubereitung:
Aus den Zutaten formen wir den Teig wie auf dem Bild, füllen und ab in den Backofen.
Zatar:
Es ist in Syrien oft üblich, Zatar einfach mit Olivenöl und Brot zu essen – quasi wie ein Dip – schau dir das Mini-Video an.
