In Deutschland ist 2018 laut dem Bundeskriminalamt jede Stunde eine Frau Opfer einer Körperverletzung durch Partner geworden. 122 Frauen sind von ihrem Partner oder ehemaligen Partner getötet worden. Insgesamt wurden mehr als 114.000 Frauen Opfer von häuslicher Gewalt, Bedrohungen oder Nötigungen durch ihre Ehemänner oder (Ex-)Partner.
Das sind schlimme Zahlen.
Bundes-Familienministerin Giffey nannte die Zahlen alarmierend.
Nun zeigen Kontakt- und Ausgangsbeschränkungen, die durch die Coronavirus-Pandemie bedingt sind, dass die Situation für Frauen riskanter geworden sind.
Heike Herold, Geschäftsführerin Frauenhauskoordinierung e.V., berichtet, dass in Ländern mit Menschen in Quarantäne oder Ausgangssperre die Fälle häuslicher Gewalt stark angestiegen sind. In Wuhan, der Stadt, in der das Coronavirus erstmals auftrat, soll es laut der Hilfsorganisation Weiping dreimal so viele Hilfsanfragen gegeben haben wie vor den chinesischen Isolations-Maßnahmen.
Auch das Frauenhaus Offenbach hier in Deutschland berichtet seit Montag (dem 23.03.2020) von einem verstärkten Anstieg von Betroffenen-Anrufen.
„Das eigene Zuhause ist für viele Frauen und Kinder kein sicherer Ort“, sagt Ceyda Keskin vom Bundesverband Frauenberatungsstellen und Frauennotrufe in Berlin.
Was kann man also tun, wenn man betroffen ist oder auch Zeuge wird von häuslicher Gewalt bei anderen?
Die Polizei gibt folgende Ratschläge:
- Bei akuter Bedrohung, wählen Sie 110!
Die Polizei wird alles Erforderliche tun, um Sie zu schützen. - Setzen Sie sich mit einer Beratungs- oder Interventionsstelle für Häusliche Gewalt in Verbindung. Den Kontakt in Ihrer Nähe vermittelt Ihnen die Polizei oder das Hilfetelefon „Gewalt gegen Frauen“ 08000 116 016, rund um die Uhr und in vielen Sprachen.
- Bleiben Sie aufmerksam in diesen Tagen – auch als Nachbar, als Freundin oder Bekannte.
